No two Matchbook suppers are alike. Each begins with a setting, a season, or an idea we can’t stop thinking about. From there, we create a menu, a table, and an evening that belong to that moment alone.
The suppers bring women together in places that might surprise you, from a dock by the water to a neighborhood shop after hours. You can arrive with a friend or take a seat among women you’ve never met. There’s always something to talk about, something new to taste, and time to settle into the evening.

I spent more than a decade in restaurants learning what makes a night feel special. It’s rarely one grand gesture. It’s the way someone is welcomed, a dish that gets everyone talking, or the moment you realize no one is quite ready to leave.
Matchbook grew from my love of those moments and from a family that always called it supper. My father kept a bowl of matchbooks by the door — little reminders of places we’d been and evenings worth keeping. I loved the idea that a gathering could leave you with something like that.
Today, I create each Matchbook experience with that feeling in mind. The menu, the music, the table, the first drink; every detail is considered, but the best parts are the ones we can’t plan. Those belong to the people who gather.
